The Vakwerkhuis is the ideal location for creative brainstorms, innovative workshops and meetings. We are located in a former boiler house near the Schie in Delft.
At Vakwerkhuis there are large and small rooms and all 11 rooms are slightly different, so there is something suitable for every occasion to book.
Whichever option you go for, we are convinced that our monumental building, will inspire your guests. We want to encourage creativity, which is why the following items are available in each room:
- flipchart
- post-its, pens, notepad
- a presentation screen
- WiFi
The spaces are rented out by the day. But if you have other ideas, we are sure we can arrange something for you. Are you a resident of the Vakwerkhuis? Then you can book for a reduced hourly rate.

Vakwerkhuis is a place, made to enjoy working. Not only because of the WiFi that always works, spacious workstations or color laser printer, because that is taken for granted. It’s because of what is not standard what counts.
An inspiring building with a network of people all with a unique specialty. So we can work together and learn from each other. On a business level, but also for laughter, lunch and drinks.

Are you coming for coffee?
A good cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, drinks and everything in between. We have it all at Vakwerkhuis. Or take a seat in a beach chair or at one of our picnic tables and imagine yourself on vacation in our sun-drenched green oasis along the Schie.

Vakwerkhuis happily celebrates
The Vakwerkhuis is ideally suited to host a party. We have experience with large parties, weddings, get-togethers. The machine hall and our garden (terrace on the Schie) have already been used as wedding location, clip recording, DJ courses and light party.
Other spaces can also be used for various purposes upon consultation.
