The Vakwerkhuis is Delft’s premier event venue, where every occasion comes to life.
Our half-timbered house is located between downtown Delft and the TU Delft campus. It’s the perfect place for meetings.
We have something for everyone. From a large meeting room that accommodates between 50 and 150 people to the smallest room, where you can meet with a small group in peace and quiet.
The Machinehal, the Collegezaal, and the Betazaal are the largest venues and are ideal for conferences, meetings, or gatherings of between 50 and 150 people. But you can also host a large party in the Machinehal, where you can also make use of our lovely café and/or our spacious garden along the Schie.
The “Rond de schoorsteen” and “Tussen de Kolen ” spaces are ideal for groups of up to 20 or 22 people. “Rond de schoorsteen” features a beautifully situated, sunny terrace with a garden.
Besides the bigger spaces, there are 5 smaller rooms for groups of 4 to a maximum of 8 people.

You can hold a great brainstorming session in this house. But you can also use it as a workspace, to give presentations, or to hold meetings. The possibilities are endless.
On the first floor, there is a spacious conference table that seats 20 people.
Downstairs, there's a conference table that seats about 10 to 14 people and a cozy seating area. Open the French doors, and you'll step right out onto a lovely patio.
Meetings also call for some snacks and drinks.
Our bar and kitchen provide food and beverages for all meeting rooms. We have prepared lunch and dinner for groups of up to 300 people.
